Easy Ways to Use These Alphabet Coloring Pages

Of course, you can simply hand your child some crayons and let them color. But there are a few other easy ways to use the pages too.

Letter of the week: Pick one alphabet coloring page to go with the letter you’re learning.

Find the letter: Ask your child to point to the uppercase and lowercase letter before they start coloring.

Say the sounds: Look at the pictures together and say their names slowly. Talk about the sound you hear at the beginning.

Rainbow letters: Instead of using one color, let kids color the big letter with several different colors.

Use play dough: If the letters are large enough, kids can roll play dough into little snakes and place them over the letter shape.

You don’t have to do all of these. Sometimes just coloring the page and chatting about the letter is enough!
