How To Play Happy Birthday Bingo
Playing Birthday Bingo is straightforward and enjoyable for everyone involved. Here’s how you can set it up:
Print the Bingo Cards: Start by printing the bingo cards on US letter-sized paper. There are 10 free bingo cards included. For a more durable card, use card stock or any thicker paper.
If you’re looking to save on paper, you can also print two bingo cards per sheet by adjusting your printer settings.
You can also print 2-cards on one paper using your printer setting (for economical printing). You’ll need one bingo card for each player.
Prepare the Calling Cards: Cut out the calling cards and place them into a bowl or a hat. These cards will be drawn by the host to call out the items.
Gather Markers: Provide each player with markers to cover the spaces on their bingo card.
You can use candies like M&M’s, Smarties, or jelly beans as markers for a sweet touch. Alternatively, you can use small paper markers or tokens.
Start the Game: Distribute one Birthday Bingo card to each player.
When the host draws a calling card from the bowl, players will look for the corresponding image on their bingo cards and cover it with their markers.
Winning the Game: The first player to cover five spaces in a row—whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—shouts “BINGO!” and wins the game.
You can offer small prizes to make it even more exciting!
Tips for a Successful Birthday Bingo
Personalize Your Cards: Consider getting customized the bingo cards to match the theme of the birthday party. For unique and custom designs, check out blog for different party themes and Etsy for a variety of options and inspiration.
Create Bingo Variations: To keep the game fresh and exciting, you can introduce different bingo variations. For instance, try a blackout bingo where players cover all the spaces on their card to win or play with different patterns like four corners or an X shape.
Incorporate Prizes: Offering small prizes for winners can add an extra layer of excitement. Prizes don’t have to be extravagant—stickers, small toys, or party favors work great.
