Easiest Way To Download Files From Etsy
The easiest way to download files from Etsy is by using the desktop website.
- Go to Etsy.com and sign in to your account.
- Click on “You” (the person icon) in the top right corner, and then click on “Purchases and reviews” from the dropdown menu.
- Find your order and click on the “Download Files” button next to the item.
Your files are securely stored in your profile, allowing you to revisit and download them whenever you need.
Download Files Using Mobile App
As of now, you cannot download files directly through the Etsy app. While you can use the app to purchase digital files, you’ll need to use a mobile browser or a computer to access and download them.

To download files using a mobile browser, be sure to stay on the web and avoid switching to the app:
- Open your mobile browser and go to Etsy.com.
- Sign in to your Etsy account.
- Tap on the “You” icon and select “Purchases and reviews.”
- Locate your order and tap on “Download Files.”
- Save the files to your device, and you’re all set!
Download Files From Email
Etsy automatically sends your files to the email associated with your Etsy account after purchase. Sometimes these emails can end up in your spam folder, so be sure to check there if you don’t see it in your inbox.
- Open the email from Etsy with the subject “transaction@etsy.com.”
- Click on the “VIEW FILES” black button in the email body. If you’re using a mobile device, stay on the web rather than switching to the app.
- Log in if required.
- Save the files to your device, and you’re all set!

If you can’t find your order on your downloads page, you may have checked out with a different Etsy account, or as a guest or with Apple device.
I used an Apple device and can’t find my download?
When using Apple devices, especially with private email settings or if you’ve signed up on Etsy with a masked email address, Etsy might not be able to track your real email address. In this case, please message me (or the seller) so we can send you another email with the files.
